Travis
and Kalin have been playing instruments since they were in elementary school.
However, they didn't start playing professionally until they were 17 years old.
Essentially they were teenagers wanting to be rock stars so they started their
first band, which was called Blue Thunder. After playing many venues such as
teen centers, private parties, and band competitions (they won Lakeville's annual
Pan o' Prog celebration in 2000), it was time for college! Throughout the next
four years, they learned many new styles of music and grew musically. From playing
at breweries and private parties with the O'Keefes (an irish/folk band) to playing
Twin Cities bars as The Brothers Laurent, they became experienced musicians.
Currently, they are playing many gigs locally. This summer Travis and Kalin
are setting up shows in St. Paul and Minneapolis. They look forward to seeing
you there!
